Helping the Central New York Conservancy Bloom with a New Responsive Website

Nov. 7, 2016 — Quadsimia is proud to announce the launch of the new responsive website for the Central New York Conservancy. The new website highlights the many parks and attractions developed and maintained by the CNYC and can now be accessed via web browsers and multiple platforms, including mobile devices and tablets.

The Central New York Conservancy was founded as a New York not-for-profit corporation in 2002. Since its inception, the Conservancy's mission has included comprehensive analysis and research of and site restoration in Utica, New York's parks system. The Conservancy promotes healthy, sustainable, public green spaces. It advocates for integrated design and management plans that marry the interests of public users with the health and future of the landscape and community.

Home to events like Wine in the Park, Utica's Parks System, including F.T. and T.R. Proctor Parks, Roscoe Conkling Park/Valley View, and the Memorial Parkway were designed back in 1906, with additional improvements made during the 1930's and 1940's. The Conservancy oversees arboricultural care of existing trees in the parks. It also cultivates partnerships with local garden clubs and interested groups in the Utica area, and encourages park users to participate in park planting and maintenance through volunteering programs.
